The Public Relations committee (Referat für Öffentlichkeitsarbeit) is responsible for researching information as well as editing, distributing and releasing this information. In our day-to-day affairs we focus on journalistic and editorial work as well as on printing our media. The Public Relations committee also maintains this website, issues newsletters and in case of need we also supply the student body with information mails on any other issue related to university.
The Public Relation committee is linked to all other AStA-committees in order to be able to publicize the results of their work. Generally, the announcements are exclusively addressed to the students of the FH Aachen, in some cases, however, we also contact local press and/or local broadcasting stations in order to get out students’ issues to a broader public. It has been shown that a constant and up to date online presence plays a crucial part in spreading information.
